The year 2020 was certainly an eye-opener. For many of us, our lives have been forever changed one way or another. We clean our homes differently now. Our work settings may never go back to what it was before and we are certainly much more conscious of our hand-washing habits.
One area of life that came into focus is money – in many ways. The intense influx of people entering the world of “investing” that had not previously had any experience in the game, is one of those ways. Robinhood… Crypto… Tesla… Gamestop… AMC… Meme Stocks… Day Trading…
Personally… I am one of those people. Being locked down at home certainly allows you to have extra time on your hands and what better way to fill that extra time than trying to get rich, am I right? But here’s the thing…. most people have two major problems now that the world is getting back to normal.
#1 We don’t have that extra time anymore and finding time to look after your financial investments is harder and harder.
#2 We amateur investors realistically have no idea what the hell we are doing.
