Rhode Island Restaurants Offering Pickup and Delivery This Week

*As shown in the Providence Journal, there are a number of restaurants working to keep the public safe, healthy and fed:

Until further notice, restaurants are closed for dining in. But they can prepare food for takeout and delivery.

Curbside takeout is available from a variety of local restaurants and businesses including bakeries, chocolate shops and liquor stores.

For delivery, third-party services, such as DoorDash and GrubHub, are available in some locations. Both of those services are suspending or reducing the fees that independent restaurants pay during this time.

Included are some highlights of what’s available and a list of others to explore. If you don’t see a restaurant on this list that you are interested in, you can call them and ask or check their Facebook or Instagram pages. That’s how a lot of information is being communicated.

As of press time, both the Winter Market at Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket and Aquidneck Growers Market in Middletown are scheduled to be open for local grocery shopping on Saturday.

Note: this is a fluid situation and restaurants may change their plans. But for now, at press time, this is the news.

Matunuck Oyster Bar,  629 Succotash Road, in the Matunuck section of South Kingstown, (401) 783-4202,, is open for curb-side pickup and owner Perry Raso has also said that they will provide food free of charge to children and teenagers in high school to help cover any meals they might lose during school shutdowns. 

Pasquale’s Pizzeria Napoletana, 59 South County Commons Way, Wakefield, (401) 783-2900,, is also providing curb-side takeout. Orders can be given over the phone or on their website.

Providence Coal Fired Pizza, 385 Westminster St., Providence, (401) 454-7499, and 6105 Post Rd., North Kingstown, (401) 885-7499, will be open from noon to 8 p.m. for curb-side takeout and delivery services. They will be offering a limited menu of Cheese Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and Coal-Fired Wings. Visit the website at for all delivery options.

The Provisioner New York Deli and Cafe, 7669 Post Rd., North Kingstown, (401) 667-0663,, will be doing takeout. Please call ahead to order. They are also offering delivery through third party services Doordash, GrubHub and Postmates.

The Thirsty Beaver Hometown Pub and Grub, 288 Atwood Ave., Cranston, (401) 270-7686, and 45 Cedar Swamp Rd., Smithfield, (401) 349-4790, will be open for takeout, curbside, Monday through Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. They also do third party delivery.

Great Harvest Bread Co., 6670 Post Rd., North Kingstown, (401) 885-0580,, has takeout for bread, goodies and lunch, til 3 p.m.

Clarke Cooke House, 26 Bannisters Wharf, Newport, (401) 849-2900,, has curbside takeout. Order during afternoon for pick-up between 5 to 8 p.m.

Mission Middletown, 58 Aquidneck Ave., Middletown, (401) 324-5811,, will be operating its parking lot as a drive-thru. It’s recommended you call in ahead of time to order and pay via credit card to minimize cash transactions. Hours are daily 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Chaska, at Garden City Center, Cranston, (401) 537-7900,, has curbside takeout and delivery from noon to 8. Go to to learn more about the menu and delivery.

Capital Grille, 10 Memorial Blvd., Providence, (401) 521-5600, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m., offering curbside takeout from a limited menu.

The Pantry at Avenue N, 20 Newman Ave., Rumford, (401) 228-6691, is open for curbside takeout, local delivery and market items.

Chocolate Delicacy, 28 Gilbane St., Warwick, (401) 884-4949,, will take orders by phone or online for curbside pickup and mail order only.

Plant City, 334 South Water St., Providence,, is offering curbside pickup or delivery (within 10 miles) from Double Zero, Bar Verde, new.burger, Make Out Cafe (no bowls or brunch) and Marketplace for baked goods and other items. Order on the app (available for iPhone or android) or call (401) 429-2029 from noon to 8 p.m.

Sin dessert shop at 1413 Westminster St, Providence, (401) 369-8427,, will be open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday thru Sunday for pick up. They can deliver larger orders. Sin has also signed up with so people can pre-order their drinks and items if they want.

Pats Pastured, farm-raised beef and more, has joined with Sweet and Salty FarmWishing Stone FarmRobin Hollow Farm and Walrus and Carpenter Oysters to assemble orders for delivery each Thursday. This week’s orders are sold out. Visit to learn more or sign up for next week.

Angelo’s Civita Farnese, 141 Atwells Ave., Providence, (401) 621-8171,, will be open daily for takeout from 11:30 a.m. and to 6 p.m. with a limited menu, including Pastine Soup and fresh house gravy.

Geoff’s Superlative Sandwiches, 401 South Main St., Providence, (401) 751-2248, offers both takeout and delivery services.

Ocean State Sandwich Co., 155 Westminster St., Providence, (401) 521-6772, offers takeout orders and curbside pickup. Order online at

Salted Slate, 186 Wayland Ave., Providence, (401) 270-3737,, is doing both lunch and dinner takeout and delivery.

Tavolo Wine Bar and Tuscan Grille will serve takeout from all three locations: 970 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, (401) 349-4979; 289 Atwells Ave., Providence, (401) 274-6000; and 2099 Post Rd., Warwick, (401) 384-7573. They will have regular hours for now — 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Smithfield and Warwick and 4 to 9 p.m. in Providence. See the menu at

Angelo’s Palace Pizza, 133 Mendon Rd., Cumberland, (401) 728-3340,, will keep their drive-through, take-out window for pizza and other menu items open. They will also offer delivery.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill, 1350 Bald Hill Rd, Warwick, (401) 827-8880, has takeout and delivery. Order online at and use code SPRING15 to receive 15% off your order.

Gregg’s restaurants in Providence, Warwick, North Kingstown and East Providence are open for takeout with curbside pickup when you order online or by phone.

Newport Creamery is also offering takeout daily from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. at the restaurants in Warwick, Cranston, Providence, Greenville, Coventry, North Kingstown, Middletown, Barrington, Fall River and Seekonk.

Chelo’s is offering takeout with curbside pickup in Woonsocket, Smithfield, Rumford, Providence, East Providence, Cranston, Warwick and the Warwick waterfront.

Uncle Tony’s Pizza & Pasta, has curbside pickup for takeout daily from lunch to 9 p.m. at 46 Putnam Pike, Johnston, (401) 231-8111, 1455 Oaklawn Ave., Cranston (401) 463-7785, 260 Newport Ave., East Providence (401) 438-4646,

R.I. Spirits, 59 Blackstone Ave., Pawtucket, (401) 744-9363,, is open for retail with curbside pickup Monday to Saturday 1-5 p.m.

In Cranston, Twin Oaks, 100 Sabra St., (401) 781-9693,, offers takeout with a daily menu. Also Bettola, Chaska, Nino’s and Tommy’s Pizza and Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza are offering takeout and or delivery.

In Johnston, Luigi’s Restaurant and Gourmet Express, 1359 Hartford Ave., (401) 861-3850,, has curbside pickup and delivery of a limited menu of items that includes zeppole and fish and chips. Also, Silvio’s Restaurant and Bar, 133 Greenville Ave. (401) 231-5060, has take out and delivery daily beginning at 11 a.m., as does Rosa Mia Pizza, 133 Greenville Ave. (401) 231-9770.

In Warwick, the list for takeout and/or delivery includes the Greenwood Inn, Bertucci’s, DiVine, Elizabeth of Portofino, Mirabella’s Italian Cucina, Olive Garden, Rigatoni’s, Ritrovos, Sophia’s Tuscan Grille, Vanda, Cantina Del Rio, Moe’s South West Grill, Papi’s Tacos, Zambrero, Cosmic Steak and Pizza, Demo’s Pizza Factory, Depetrillo’s Pizza and Bakery, Don’s Pizza Restaurant, Filippou’s Twisted Pizza III, Dave’s Bar and Grill, Governor Francis Inn, Iggy’s Doughboy & Chowder House, Top of the Bay. Takeout in Newport is being offered by Binge BBQ, Brick Alley Pub, Corner Cafe, Cru Cafe, Empire Tea and Coffe, J22 Tap & Table, La Forge Casino Restaurant, the Lobster Shack, Localz Kitchen and Cocktails, Lucia’s Italian Kitchen, Nikolas Pizza, The Nitro Bar, Norey’s, Pasta Beach, Perro Salado, Scratch Kitchen, Speakeasy Bar & Grill, TSK at Revolving Door, Southern Wharf Kitchen and Winner Winner. Most of them also have delivery.

In North Kingstown, offering takeout are the Carriage Inn, Frankie’s Restaurant & Pizzeria (delivery, too), Gardner’s Wharf Seafood, Mickey’s Pizza, Seven Moons, Shayna’s Place, Sophia’s Brewhouse, Brewed Awakenings Coffee House, Wickford on the Water (delivery, too) and Pagoda Inn.

In Bristol, DeWolf Tavern, Le Central, Leo’s Ristorante, Quito’s, Portside Tavern and The Casual Inn Restaurant are offering takeout.

In Middletown, offering takeout is Diego’s Barrio Cantina, Carmella’s, Custom House Coffee, Flat Waves Food Shack and Sprout and Lentil.

Other suburban offerings include LaMasseria, Rasa and Siena in East Greenwich; George’s of Galilee in Narragansett; Khoo’s Restaurant, West Warwick; Chomp Kitchen and Drinks and Perella’s Ristorante in Warren; Providence Bagel in North Providence (as well as in Providence); Rasoi in Pawtucket; Arigna in Pawtucket and North Providence and Tumblesalts Café in North Providence; Siena, Cook and Dagger, Ivy and Lace Bake Shop, Rocco’s Pub, Terrazza, A&W and Parma Ristorante in Smithfield; Crepelicious in Barrington; Macray’s Seafood in Tiverton; Madeira Restaurant in East Providence; and La Collina Restaurant at Hillside Country Club in Rehoboth.

Providence has most choices. On Federal Hill, offering takeout and delivery are Andino’s, Anthony’s Authentic Italian Cuisine, Blend, Cassarino’s, Costantino’s Venda Bar, Don Jose Tequilas, Federal Taphouse, Trattoria Zooma, Chef Ho’s Chinese Restaurant, Nami Japanese Restaurant, Opa Restaurant, Wise Guys Deli and Sicilia’s Pizzeria. Offering takeout only are Camille’s, Joe Marzilli’s Old Canteen and Providence Oyster Bar.

Downcity Providence businesses Rosalina, Kleos, Sura, Red Fin Crudo, Malted Barley, Eno’s Fine Wine, Bolt Coffee on Westminster Street and Tori Tomo are offering takeout. Some also have delivery.

Also in Providence offering takeout and or delivery are Great Northern BBQ, CAV, Knead Doughnuts, Jacky’s Waterplace Restaurant, Nicks on Westminster and Nicks on Broadway, Murphy’s, P.F. Chang’s, PVDonuts, Rebelle Artisan Bagels, Roma Capaccio, Sarto, Uno Pizzeria, Bacaro, Lotus Garden Noodle & Sushi House, Los Andes, Mare and Public Kitchen, Chez Pascal Wurst Kitchen, Kabob and Curry, Pasta Beach, Yoleni’s and Bottles for liquor.
